Time flies so fast

I am still breathing!

Yes, I am still alive. Been inactive for a month. A lot of catching up to do. So what kept me busy? Work, and Work-related Travels (Jakarta/Bangkok- I'll blog about it more next time), some catching up to do with Sean and Sophia who runs after the yayas instead of me (sigh) and some quality time with Che too.

I still don't have my Schengen Visa and no approval received yet. Sigh. I am panicking since I'm leaving on the 9th (in a week's time!). I tried pulling some strings at our Danish Consulate (ours because our office manages the consulate here in Manila) and hopefully I'll get my visa just in time. I intend to extend my stay and visit Brussels, Bruges and Amsterdam (meeting up with my dear friend/lunch buddy Tina). But before i shout for joy, I need to secure that visa and purchase my ticket from Copenhagen to Brussels! :)

We've moved office after we came back from Jakarta. I love MOA! hahaha. I know, nagiba ihip ng hangin. I hate MOA before because of the crowd especially if you visit the mall on weekends/holidays. It is just soo iritating. BUT I love it now because of the convenience (shopping and running errands during lunch and after office), less traffic once you cross Roxas Blvd, more fresh air, more choices for food (although more expensive lunches!), no queue at the lifts (and no switching of lifts from parking to office), and no queue in restaurants. I'll try to post a separate entry on this when I have time.. :)

Sean and Sophia are growing up too fast. They are building a personality already (i think!). They grab things they see and takes extra effort to stand up and walk! I find them still very adorable (of course, I am the mom!). They're turning 9 months tomorrow and I'll take a day off to spend time with them and rest (I need it badly now). Here's their latest pics. Look at Sean's porma, cute! And look at Sophia, she already has a clip! :)

Morning Rush

What does it take to be a busy working mom? Imagine these….

We wake up 5:30am to leave the house at 6:15-6:30am to drop off Sato to school which is also located in Makati.

Sean and Sophia wakes up early too so that means while we dress up, we have to watch over them play (especially when they start squeezing each other's face). When worst comes to worst, they cry for simple reason that they want to get out of bed. And that means we have to carry them while we are busy fixing ourselves and getting our things. I think we have perfected the art of multi-tasking here.

In the process, I do mistakenly pick-up things or often forget to handover stuff to the yayas. For several occassions, I have brought with me a tv remote control (you’re reading it right!), the twin’s new vitamins, bibs etc.

Today, what did I carried with me to work?

Hilarious! :)

One could never have enough

Last Sunday, we transit via Singapore on our way to Jakarta. We only had 40 minutes for layover. We arrived just in time for boarding. We rushed to Charles & Keith to check out if there's anything nice. In 10 minutes, I got myself 3 pairs of shoes and a bag! So I had 7 pairs of shoes with me for a 3-day stay in Jakarta...

*the new ones are the brown snake skin shoe on upper left, pink in lower left and the white sandals in lower right.

I was feeling tired yesterday so I had to de-stress. Shopping is always a good theraphy (everyone should agree on this) and so I rejuvenated myself by purchasing these shoes at Nine West.com

I love it! It's so in! I like the black too and it fits perfectly in a pair of skinny jeans or on a dress. Good luck to me though since it is my first time to wear a 4 inch heel.

I tried below at NW in Glorietta and it fits perfectly.

I am not a fan of this type of heels but I like the white leather and gray suede combination.

I'm so excited to receive the package. Anne, holler when you receive it ok?!

I bagged this! Tina also got the same. It's a cheaper version of Chanel, I know, but we still love it!

I always have a hard time finding a shoe that fits here in Manila so I have a good excuse here. ;) I just have to close my eyes when I receive my credit card bill.
